Lindsay and Ty Buffington Update April 5th 2009

Hello! Sorry for taking so long to get an update up! We've been busy!!

Ty and Lindsay have both been doing so great! Lindsay is talking like crazy! Ty has had a busy month! He has started eating some soft foods and has been talking alot more! Also Ty has really been working on his walking and is doing a great job!

Lindsay is really amazing! She was recently tested and she scored a year a head on her vocabulary and speach. She is really doing a great job talking and putting words together! She still loves singing and talking! Some of the sentences that she puts together just amaze me!

Ty has been working really hard and is just an amazing kid! He is off the oxygen and vent for all the time that he is awake during the day! He still is taking some oxygen when he takes his afternoon nap and when he goes to sleep at night. Also he is only on the vent about 5 hours during the night! He also has started eating some soft foods. He loves yogurt and several baby foods. He's doing so good with it! He really loves tasting the new things! This is all new to him and he likes it!

We've all managed to stay healthy and with the good weather on its way, we are looking forward to spending time outside!

This year our family will be Walking in the March of Dimes, March for Babies. Our team has set a goal to raise $250 for research in premature babies. We will be walking on April 25th. Hopefully if the weather is good we'll be able to take the kids out and walk with them. Please go to the link below if you would like to donate to our team for the walk!
