Lindsay and Ty Buffington June 15th Update 2008

Happy Father's Day to all the Dads out there! And a Special Happy Father's Day to my Dad in Mississippi!

Things have been going really good! Ty's really making some great progress and is getting so strong!

Lindsay is non stop! She's got things to do and places to be!

Ty's started crawling! He's so proud of himself! Now that he realizes that he can go places, he's really digging it!

He's up to 9 hours a day on his trach ring and isn't showing any signs of slowing down! We really take advantage of the time off the vent! We go out side and play and do lots of fun stuff! Now that Ty's crawling it's nice to have the extra room! The vent cords are not very long so he really can't go far unless he's on the trach ring.

Lindsay's started up swim class again and is really liking it alot! It's some good bonding time with mom. She's non stop now! Always on the move! She has been walking really good and has started using more 'real' words. She still sings non stop too! From the time she wakes up, till bed time... she's singing something!

We had to special order a car seat for Ty and it finally came in. So for the very first time we got to actually go out with the whole family. Great-grandma and Great-grandpa got a surprise when the whole family showed up at their door!!!

Ty loved it! He's never been anywhere besides our house and the hospital. So when we went somewhere else, he was really surprised!

We're making great progress! With their 2nd birthday just around the corner, we've been blessed!! Can't believe that they will be 2 in a few weeks!!! WOW! Ty's been home 9 months and it's been wonderful!
