Now that the weather has been pretty good both of the kids have been able to get out and do more! Lindsay has been taking Tumbling class and Swimming lessons. Ty and Lindsay have both been taking music classes. They really like the classes and the social interaction! It has really been good for both of them to get some structured classes and some social interaction with other kids. Ty really has been having a blast with Music!
Also we have been able to have some short play dates with some of the neighbor's kids and with cousin Logan and Zach! Uncle Matt and Aunt Renae were in town and were able to stop by for a while!
Ty and Lindsay have both been doing great! Ty has been able to reduce some of his medications and has also made good progress working off of the vent. At this time he is only on the vent for a couple of hours at night!! Hopefully at our next doctor appointment we'll be able to make some more adjustments and get off of the vent totally!
Lindsay has really become the social butterfly! She has been taking tumbling, swimming and music! She loves the attention and making new friends! Also these classes have been really good helping with her physical therapy.
After Ty's next appointment he may get to start taking some more classes. As long as the doctor agrees, then we'll get him enrolled in some classes. In the mean time he's been able to have fun with other kids here at home!
Ty also had his first resturant experience and did just perfectly! He really was amazed at all of the stuff in the resturant! He even made friends with an old man in the booth next to us... making faces and winking.
The kids are getting ready for the 3rd birthday! It's just a couple of weeks away and the kids are excited! We're planning another party with a small gathering here at home! It'll be alot easier this year now that Ty isn't attached to all that equipment!
We are so proud of both of them! They have come so far and are just the coolest kids! They both have really blossomed and are the best kids anyone could ask for!
