It's been really cold up here, but it did manage to warm up enough to take the kids out for a couple of short walks! It was really nice to be outside and the kids did not want to come in!
Things have been going great! So far this winter we have managed to keep the kids healthy! When they are healthy it is a lot easier for us to make some good progress!
Ty is up to 17 1/2 hours off of the vent and is now off of oxygen for 4 hours a day! It's great not having any cords attached! Ty really likes having the freedom and we like it too! He is up walking and running all around! It's wonderful! Lindsay now has a hard time getting away from Ty! It's so cute watching Ty chase Lindsay around!
Ty is also working on his eating. He is making slow but steady progress! We've got a long road ahead of us but I'm really happy with the progress Ty's made so far!
Lindsay is just a talking machine! She really has started putting sentences together and repeats everything that you say! She has the best sense of humor and sings everything! Now that Ty is walking, Lindsay is showing him all the stuff that she likes doing! She is so good to him and takes great care of him!
I'm sure that most of you know about the layoffs at Alcoa. I managed to keep my job and not get layed off! So I am really relieved and thankful! Several of my friends were layed off and are having a hard time finding something else.
Also I did want to take a second to give some free advertising to my brother's business in Mississippi. He got his contractor license and started his own business. It's called Livewire. So if anyone needs anything done around the house, he's the one to call! He does a great job and would love the business. Give him a call or e mail me and I can get you in touch with him.
